Overview
LocalPulse AI is a SaaS platform that automates local business SEO for agencies and multi-location brands. A coordinated team of AI agents keeps thousands of business listings optimized, active, and visible in local search, replacing repetitive manual work. I led AI/ML engineering and owned the system architecture end to end: agent design, a layered Node.js backend, async background jobs, real-time push to the UI, and the React frontend those jobs surface in.
What I did
- 01Owned system design and architecture end to end — from LangGraph agent design and a layered backend through the React frontend.
- 02Built multi-agent orchestration for content, review responses, media and reporting, with server-sent events so work streams to the client as it happens.
- 03Designed an async job architecture on Agenda.js and MQTT: scheduled background work, pub/sub push between services, and event-driven pipelines that hold up across thousands of listings.
- 04Engineered dynamic AI task routing across OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini and Perplexity based on task type, quality and cost.
- 05Implemented geo-grid rank tracking with interactive Leaflet heatmaps, plus automated audit reports with prioritized recommendations.
- 06Shipped media and activity dashboards, video and content pipelines with approval and scheduled publishing, and social publishing across major platforms via OAuth.
- 07Integrated 57+ third-party APIs for analytics, content, social, maps and business data, and designed multi-client workspaces with role-based access.
